Frequently Asked Questions


Do you help us obtain our marriage license?

LLBK Legacy can provide general guidance on New York marriage license requirements, but the license must be obtained by the couple from the appropriate city or county clerk's office.


Are witnesses required at our ceremony?

Yes. New York law requires at least one witness in addition to the officiant; many couples choose two. Please confirm current requirements with the issuing clerk's office.


Can you write our vows or ceremony script for us?

We can help coordinate ceremony structure and timing. Couples are welcome to provide their own vows and readings, or ask us for general guidance on ceremony structure.


Is our wedding date guaranteed once we contact you?

A request does not guarantee availability. We confirm your date and time once details are finalized.


Do you file the marriage license after the ceremony?

We provide guidance on completing and returning the marriage license per the issuing clerk's requirements; filing responsibilities and deadlines should be confirmed with the issuing office.


What areas do you serve for wedding ceremonies?

LLBK Legacy officiates weddings throughout New York City, including Lower Manhattan and Tribeca, and is available for other locations by arrangement.


What if we need to reschedule?

Please contact us as soon as possible with any date changes. We will do our best to accommodate rescheduling based on availability.
